Venerina Latino
May 2, 1936 - June 9, 2014
Venerina Latino passed away peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, on June 9, 2014
At 7:07 pm at the age of 78 with her loving family by her side. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Giuseppe Latino and her six sons and their families; Sebastiano, Tony and Karen, Charlie and Elena, Sam and Amy, Eric and Sue, Renato and Alexandra. Venerina is also survived by her 5 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters VENERINA 32, JOSEPH 32, CORY 18, LEAH 13, CODY 23, BRIAN 22, MATTHEW 19, and the youngest of all 1 GREAT GRANDSON DANTE , age 29 months , who always brought a big smile to Mom's face.
She will also be missed by her 2 sisters Dina, Rita and 1 brother Daniele who resides in Italy.
Visitation will take place at the Highland Funeral Home Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, Ont. 905-887-8600 on Thursday, June 12, 2014 and Friday, June 13, 2014 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Hwy 7 East, Markham, Ont. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10am. An entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 33 Memory Gardens Lane North York (Willowdale) Ont. M2H 3K4
The entire family would also like to extend their gratitude to Zio Sebastiano and Zia Giuseppina Rabito, Brittney (Cody's girlfriend) for all her great gentle care while Mom was in the hospital, also Dr. Trinkaus ( Oncologist and all her team, lead by Al ) at the oncology lab for all their professional and friendly work they provided mom and family when she went for chemo. Dr. Lam (home Visiting Palliative Doctor for her QUICK RESPONSE for the countless times, days, nights and weekends that I called or texted her.), Dr. Anwar (Family Dr.), Nurisa (Home Visiting Nurse) and Jennifer her PSW that lit up Mom's face every time mom saw her.
