<div itemprop="description">Helen Yu Niang Shih rested in peace and was embraced by our Lord, Jesus Christ on July 1, 2016 at the age of 84 in Toronto, Ontario. She was surrounded by her husband and family members. <br> <br>She was born in Bandung Indonesia on May 31, 1932. Educated in Indonesia until she was nineteen years old. She then went to China and studied medicine. She became a physician. Her mother’s name was Kang Sou Ing and her father’s name was Dolance Wong. She was the eldest child of a family of 7 children. Helen had 2 brothers and 4 sisters - Wong Fu Chun (sister), Paul Widyanto (brother), Grace Ho (sister), Wong Fu Wah (sister), Susan Chau (sister) and Denny Widyanto (brother). They all survived her. <br> <br>She married Henry Hsin Liang Shih on April 16, 1959 in ShangHai China. They had two daughters - Belinda Ming Li and Miranda Ya Kwan. They all moved to Toronto in 1981. Her husband and two daughters survived her. The elder daughter’s husband was named Andrew Li and the first grandson was named Gordon Li. The younger daughter’s husband was named Warren Kwan and the second grandson was named Ethan Kwan. They all survived her. <br> <br>The funeral service will be held at Highland Funeral Home – Markham Chapel at 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, Ontario, Canada on Saturday 9 July 2016 at 10:00am. Burial service will be held on the same day at 11:15am at Salem United Church Cemetery at 3570 Salem Road, Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Lunch buffet will be served at Mandarin restaurant at 1725 Kingston Road, Pickering, Ontario L1V 1B5 from 01:00pm to 03:00pm. <br> <br>Love one’s life, run towards eternity! <br> <br></div>
