<div itemprop="description"><br>Peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the age of 88. <br> <br>Dear and loving daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie Waddington. <br> <br>Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Marks, and the late Bruce MacLennan, father of her devoted children Elaine Harvey (Brant Purdy), Karen Eaton and Gail MacLennan (Al Axworthy). <br> <br>Loving Nana to her grandson James Eaton and great-grandson Rowan Eaton. <br> <br>Dear sister of Mabel (deceased), Evelyn, John (deceased), Harold (deceased) and Nellie. <br> <br>Hazel had a full life, working at Canada Packers in Toronto for over 32 years and raising her 3 daughters, whom she loved dearly, after the untimely death of her husband Bruce. She took great joy in spending time with her siblings and their spouses, and her many nieces and nephews. Hazel had many happy times with Ted, family and friends and her cherished dog Bobo at the cottage on Balsam Lake. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the management and staff at Stouffville Creek Retirement Residence for their caring support and friendship, and Hazel’s primary care physician Dr. Rae Lake and his staff Jennifer and Darlene for their compassionate care over many years. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place. Private interment. <br> <br>A celebration of Hazel’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 20 at Highland Funeral Home, Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, Ontario L6C 3G1.
